1. The protective shield keeps the needle covered at all time increasing the injection safety margin. It prevents contact contamination and protects against air-borne pathogens that may cause severe bacterial infection.
2. The needle’s design ensures safe injection localization with the integrated 3.5 mm – 4 mm measuring caliper. This ensures consistency of the injection in all situations.
3. The smaller-bore mini needle (33 gauge, 0.2 mm diameter) is more comfortable for patients. It may also impart improved safety due to reduction of bacterial influx from the surface.
